This is my favorite Persian/Iranian restaurant specially for their (Skewer kabobs, heart, liver, kidney) and koobideh, chicken and their sandwich is so amazing (beef tongue) and also Persian hot dog with cheese and mushroom sandwich is a must !
Just tried their specialty Persian soup which calls Ash(Ah-sh) and it was so delicious and fresh must have for warm up before main entree.
This place has been amazing around Encino and woodland hills in ventura blvd since 7 years ago when I first time tried it. Still same great quality.
Prices are reasonable specially for sandwiches.
Parking is a little challenging in this area all restaurant have limitations but its not mission impossible to find spot around here.
I'm gonna add photos of what we ordered and impressed with quality and freshness of the foods.
Ordered hot tea and tea bag with hot water in glass was nice.
I recommend this place to everyone around here.
The place is not so big or small but its very comfortable.
Don't forget to try their authentic drink (soda)for sure which calls (Doogh) means fermented yogurt drink similar as kefir but made with yogurt and some come carbonized and with mint flavor .
Their sides are pretty good I recommend marinated olives (zeytoon parvardeh) and yogurt with cucumber (maasto khiar)
*Don't forget to get desert for your self from their freezer !
Yes they have (Faloodeh) semi frozen sweet noodle and their saffron ice cream sandwich which are the best taste of frozen you will ever taste**
The dishes you would never find in other restaurant from different countries and must try are :
    Olvieh Salad
    Mirzaghasemi
    Kashkebademjoon
    Ash reshteh
    Ghormeh sabzi
    Gheimeh
    Bandari sausage
    Kuku (veggie kotlet)
    Also (tongue sandwich) *
**You will get 5% off if you pay cash

Ordered food from them the first time ever, picked up my plate around 8pm. Woman behind the counter seemed super tired and out of it. She was not having a good time, I wouldn't either if I was working late on a Sunday but still.

Ate my food, tasted pretty bland and they somehow ruined the rice. My stomach had problems later that night, wasn't feeling good.

I ended up with really bad food poisoning for 3 days.

Update: They have filed a complaint against my review and are trying to take it down. Lmao good luck. Your food is garbage and so is your service.

Where do I start. This place is special to me because there is no place like it in the United States. They have lots if traditional Iranians foods such as Kabobs and Kalleh Pacheh. My favorites are the sausage bandari and the mix (brain and tongue) sandwiches. Delicious food, fast service and cordial staff. I will return again and again.

I called them at 11:25 and asked them if they would be open and had food. The man on the phone replied "of course". I got there at 11:40 and the guy just walked towards the door, gave me a sign that "not open" in a rude and then turned off the lights outside and in the restaurant. I'll never go here again. Good thing in n out is nearby. I'm appalled and flabbergasted at the lack of service.

Really a hole in wall but clean and my partners were in mood for adventure versus a regular In & Out Burger.

There were three of us, so we opted to get three sandwiches and share the sandwiches among us, so each of us can taste a different sandwich.

Bandari Sausage Sandwich: Heavy on Mayo, kind of spicy taste and I will rate a "3" out of "5" stars for being different.

Tongue Sandwich: Was the best pick here. It was done right and I will rate it "4" out of "5" stars.

Brain Sandwich: It was not my first stab at this dish; I had brain sandwich in Detroit fifteen years ago and brain sandwich in France twelve years ago. While I like the Detroit experience and France experience, I regret trying this sandwich here. It was heavily sauced and it tasted like fish. I rate this "1" out "5". None of us like the brain sandwich.

Parking is street parking and the place is small restaurant, so I assume that it will be hard to get parking during the busy lunch hour.
